Our Story

Campers and Kit has been on an incredible journey from its humble beginnings a year ago. From our founder, James, packing up his own work van up for weekend getaways in the great outdoors to now, where we are giving people the opportunity to go on epic road trips in luxury comfort across the UK!

James’ love for exploring and adventure underpins the values of Campers and Kit. It started as an idea, an escape from real life, a way of resetting the mind. Being outside and breathing in fresh air, pushing yourself out of your comfort zone, switching off from the laptops and adventuring are all powerful ways to relax and boost those endorphins. We need an escape. We crave adventure.

We wanted to give people the chance to experience this, but to do it in comfort. And so Campers and Kit was born. Our offering is premium, comfortable campervans that are built for adventure. We have converted them with our own Campers & Kit twist, and ensure that every van comes stocked with everything we think you need for a road trip. They are specifically designed to be loaded with all the kit you need to get outside and explore, whether it be mountain bikes, kayaks or paddleboards. We are your one stop shop for an escape to recharge and reset.
